Pinelands Champions
The Pinelands Action Campaign supports public officials who fight to preserve and
provide responsible access to the Pinelands.
To identify and recognize public servants at the state, county, and municipal levels who will fiercely serve the interests of the Pinelands, we have established the Pinelands Champions Program.
Pinelands Champions are public officials who:

Keep the Pinelands Commission true to its mission, not dictated by politics.

Support development projects that uphold the rules and the spirit of the Pinelands Comprehensive Management Plan.

Advocate for stronger protections to mitigate climate change.

Support state funding for the Pinelands Commission and other agencies and programs that are critical to the protection of the Pinelands.

Advance legislation that strengthens the authority of the Pinelands Commission and oppose measures that threaten that authority.
The Pinelands Action Campaign will work with allies and community members to find Pinelands Champions and recognize their great work. This program is meant to build the support for individuals who are our stewards, supporters, and leaders for the Pinelands.
